A Deliciously Simple Miso Twist on a Classic Veggie
Cooking the cabbage whole helps retain all its delicious umami! The combination of sesame oil, miso, and vinegar creates a flavorful sauce that perfectly coats the cabbage. Once you start, you won't be able to stop—it’s that good!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cabbage (220g/7.7oz)
  • 1 tbsp ORGANIC MISO "MILD SODIUM MISO"
  • 1/2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp White sesame

Instructions

  • Cut the core out of the cabbage and place it in a large microwave-safe dish. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave on 1200W for 2 minutes and 30 seconds(Cooking time depends on the wattage of your microwave.) Once it cools down a bit, roughly chop it.
  • In a bowl, mix ORGANIC MISO "MILD SODIUM MISO", sesame oil, vinegar, and white sesame, then toss in the chopped cabbage. Serve on a plate, and sprinkle ground sesame seeds over the top by rubbing them between your fingers.
