Ingredients

  • 6 Black cod fillets(about 1.5-inch thick)
  • 1/2 cup SHINSHU MISO (MIDDLE EAST)
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Vegetable oil

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together miso, sugar, oyster sauce and water.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, add the black cod and the sauce. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and lightly brush oil on it.
    Place the fillets on the baking tray, skin side down.
  • Cook in the oven for 15 minutes, or until the black cod is cooked through and the top is slightly caramelized.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice, grilled vegetables, or a light salad. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
