Hikari Miso Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce our new product, “Misoya no Makanai Miso Soup -Kuradashi Shinshu Koji Miso-,” a fresh paste-type instant miso soup.

◆With the concept of “ultimate simple miso soup using the best miso, known to only miso maker,” the new instant miso soup is now released, featuring the easiest and delicious miso soup that miso craftsmen usually eat.

Miso soup is often served as a daily meal. The variety of instant miso soup that is easy to prepare has been expanded and various products have appeared in recent years. Against this backdrop, we are releasing an ultimate simple instant miso soup made from only “miso, dried bonito flakes and garnish” with no chemical seasonings. To develop the product, we interviewed miso craftsmen and people who are familiar with miso soup. According to them, the easiest way to make delicious miso soup is to “add miso, dried bonito flakes and roughly cut garnish in a bowl and just add hot water.” To produce this simple miso soup, we used the most flavorful miso that has been aged for more than three years in a storehouse.

We also included an individual packet of dried bonito flakes. By sprinkling it on the soup just before eating, the aroma and deep taste of freshly shaved dried bonito will make miso soup even more delicious.

◆Using miso that has been aged for more than three years!

Shinshu Koji Miso, used for this new product, is a naturally brewed miso aged for more than three years after a traditional miso production process called “Daikanjikomi.” We use ingredients produced in Japan, including Toyoharuka soybeans and Koshihikari rice.

This richly flavored miso slowly matured in a storehouse, is typically known to only miso makers. As we use a non-heating method for miso production, you can enjoy the original taste and aroma of miso.
