“THE ORGANIC MISO DAIZU” and “THE ORGANIC MISO KOMEKOJI” FEATURES

Prepared from ingredients grown with care under strictly controlled conditions and bursting with natural flavor, “THE ORGANIC MISO DAIZU” and “THE ORGANIC MISO KOMEKOJI” are Japanese Agricultural Standards (JAS) organic-certified. Only the highest-quality soybeans, rice and salt are used, in proportions finely calibrated to highlight the inherent flavor of each ingredient. Meticulous fermentation and aging of these combined ingredients have resulted in a mild, accessible flavor. “THE ORGANIC MISO DAIZU” offers smooth texture with a balanced flavor and the body and aroma of young green soybeans.  “THE ORGANIC MISO KOMEKOJI” is full-flavored with generous rice koji sweetness and prepared with 25 percent less salt than other Hikari Miso‘s regular miso range to foreground the natural umami of the ingredients.

ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY PACKAGING

Packaging for the new products is manufactured using environmentally-friendly biomass ink, with restickable labels for easy differentiation. All product information is printed on the top. Reducing a piece of label, thus reducing the volume of packaging materials. The pack has a warmness, approachable design featuring the key natural blessings of soybeans, rice, sun and water.
