Hikari Miso Co., Ltd. announces the release of “CRAFT MISO NAMA-KOJI Precious”, a limited-edition product from the “CRAFT MISO” range. The product will be available in limited quantities from June 1, 2026, at supermarkets and other retail outlets throughout Japan.

“CRAFT MISO NAMA-KOJI” offers a new style of miso with a fresh, fruity flavor and a juicy texture.
With 25% less salt compared to the company’s standard products, it can be enjoyed as-is without cooking. Since its launch in 2022, the product has been well-received.

As a limited-edition version, “CRAFT MISO NAMA-KOJI Precious” is produced once a year. Due to strong demand, production volume has increased by approximately 20% compared to the previous year.

“CRAFT MISO NAMA-KOJI Precious” is a limited-edition miso produced once a year using the traditional “Daikanjikomi” technique with freshly harvested rice and soybeans, during the coldest season of the year, considered ideal for miso making.

  • Uses “Koshihikari” rice from Mie Prefecture
