Ingredients

  • 1 piece (300g/11 oz) Chicken breast
  • To taste Flour (for dredging)
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp SAVOURY WHITE MISO
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 Lemon, juiced
  • 2 tbsp Capers
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 oz (110g) Green beans
  • 14 oz (400g) Cooked rice
  • 1 tsp Toasted sesame seeds (black)
  • 1/2 Lemon (sliced)

Instructions

  • Cook the rice in advance.
  • Slice the chicken breast horizontally to halve the thickness, then pound lightly to flatten.
  • Dust both sides with flour, shaking off any excess.
  • Melt the butter in a frying pan and sauté the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden and crisp. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add miso dissolved in water along with lemon juice and capers. Simmer until the sauce reduces to about one-third of its original volume.
  • In a separate pan, heat olive oil and sauté the green beans.
  • Mix the cooked rice with black sesame seeds, then plate it with the sautéed green beans.
  • Top with the chicken, pour the sauce over, and garnish with sliced lemon.
