Japan’s top organic miso maker, Hikari Miso, will exhibit its triple-certified organic miso products March 9-11, 2018 at New Hope Network’s Natural Products Expo West & Engredea 2018. Expo West celebrated its largest event yet in 2017 with over 80,000 attendees, and continues to be the leading trade show in the natural, organic and healthy products industry with over 3,100 exhibitors annually.

Hikari Miso will showcase its certified organic miso products at Booth #2221 in Hall C of the Anaheim Convention Center, 800 West Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92802, USA. Hikari Miso’s organic red, white, saikyo sweet, dashi, brown rice and mild sodium miso are not only certified organic, but are triple certified: USDA Organic, EU Organic and JAS Organic.

According to the Organic Trade Association, organic food sales in the U.S. totaled $47 billion in 2016, representing an 8.4 percent growth rate from the previous year (compared to the 0.6 percent growth rate in the overall food market). Organic food now accounts for more than five percent of total food sales in the U.S., according to the same 2017 Organic Industry Survey.

“We are thrilled to share our organic miso products at Expo West with attendees and leaders in the natural and organic industry,” said Yoshihiro ‘Joshu’ Hayashi, fourth generation of his family to lead Hikari Miso and CEO and president of Hikari Miso Co., Ltd. “Every year at Expo West, new trends are discovered, but my family has been making certified organic miso with simple, natural ingredients for four generations. We are excited to once again share our authentic Japanese miso with Expo West attendees.”

Started in 1981, Expo West brings together 120 countries to exhibit the best and most on-trend natural, organic and healthy products in the industry. In addition to the trade show exhibition, Expo West includes an educational conference from March 7-11 focused on the following themes for 2018: Organic’s New Future, Growing a Healthy Business, Regenerative Business, The Supplement Story, Supplying the Good Food Future and Digital Marketing.
