World-renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Hikari Miso
Nobu Matsuhisa trained in traditional sushi establishments in Tokyo, Japan before traveling to Peru, Argentina, and Alaska. He opened his restaurant Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills in 1987, which soon became a favorite of celebrities and connoisseurs alike. Today, there are 28 Nobu restaurants around the world.
While we at Hikari Miso consider Nobu Matsuhisa a friend, to millions around the globe, he is one of the world’s most respected chefs. His culinary journey has always included a reverence for miso, and now includes his signature Hikari Miso line of Nobu products. We are honored by this ongoing collaboration with Chef Matsuhisa.
